Oh Happy Day!

Today was a very happy day for me.... and that's weird being it's a Monday (my least favorite day of the week during the school year). Here's what happened.

1. I finally got the ball rolling with Iowa State
2. I have a place to stay when I visit NDSU in a few weeks here.
3. Got my first Cotton Chronicle article sent off, and it looks great :)
4. Got new shoes. My other ones were looking extremely ratty.
5. I AM GOING TO PROM!!!!! Start the happy dance guys! I can't wait! I was never expecting a yes 24 days after the fact! My first "yes" from a girl too. Oh man I'm bubbling over now!

So yeah, lots to be happy about at the end of the day. I wonder what'll happen tomorrow....?

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. There are tons of things to do when that first winter storm hits, and we should enjoy it while we can.  I've been regretting not being able to take part in Winter activities these past few years due to my numerous prior commitments, but maybe this will be the year

TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
