Seventeen


My birthday is on Tuesday, and as I'm writing this post I'm thinking about the year I just had, and saying "WOW!"  So much has changed in my life, and I've met lots of new people.  I now have a full part-time job as well as the basketball and football managing and DJing.  I got behind a microphone in more places besides at somebody's wedding reception, and deepened my public speaking skills and spiritual knowledge.  I've also been to several places and did things I've never done before.  Lastly, I was invited onto Generation W's staff today so that's another plus!

Turning seventeen doesn't really bring any significant priveledges with it except for that I can now get into and buy R-Rated Movies, but that's ok.  The priveleges 18-year olds get don't thrill me all too much anyways sans the fact that I'll legally be able to live on my own, which means I can go anywhere for college! YAY!

As for the awesome people I've met, thank you! I wish I could be keeping in contact more but school and work going on steady prevents that.  I'll be in touch as soon as I can!



I'm excited to see what the next year in my life brings, and again, thank you all for being such awesome friends! I am privileged to know such wonderful people!

Lastly, a note on Hunter's condition.  He is resting up in the hospital now and is doing much better than he was after yesterday's game.  Rest easy bro!

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
