Some Work Actually Got Done On The Story This Week! (Yay!)

Yes, the headline is true!  I finally finished Chapter 25 this week, and am now going through Chapter 26, which introduces a love interest to one of the main characters through a dream sequence.  I think love is not a necessary element in all stories, but here, it really works to give the story some emotional drive.

I also want to include some heartbreak in the later chapters, because the heartbreak some people feel after not getting to get with the girl or guy you really really liked or after a breakup can be life changing, especially after a long period of time together.  Lastly on the love note, you can also expect to find a lot of P.D.A jokes littered throughout.

I'm also continuing to work in the characters, with about half of the characters currently signed up making their first appearance.  Again, I am trying to stay as true to personality as possible with maybe a few variations, which makes for a good time if I may offer.

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. There are tons of things to do when that first winter storm hits, and we should enjoy it while we can.  I've been regretting not being able to take part in Winter activities these past few years due to my numerous prior commitments, but maybe this will be the year

TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
