Another Brief Story Update

As a amateur writer who has never been heard of outside Cherry and Cotton where people always want to hear more stories from me, I've always had some type of interested fan. Of course, some fans have tried to be inserted into the stories doing certain things, and that led to quite the interesting deal in 2008 that will go unnamed here today.  After that I put down the pen until 2012 when I wrote a brief story about me passing away and coming back for a visit. This led to a series that still isn't completed, and now I find myself working on this novel.

This novel has, at times, required a break from writing to refresh the juices inside my brain and get new ideas. This hasn't been a problem this week as I continue to slide through a dream sequence in Chapter 26 that will lead into the next scene at a Denny's restaurant.  It's coming along smoothly, and I hope to have it done by January 1st.

Before I go, it is May sweeps, the time when we find out if our favorite shows are coming back next year or not. It's always interesting to watch diehard fans of X whine over why their show was cancelled over show Y, which is usually poorer quality anyways.  All shows end at some point, and I expect to get some very sad news at some point today.  Then again, it's just a show.

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. There are tons of things to do when that first winter storm hits, and we should enjoy it while we can.  I've been regretting not being able to take part in Winter activities these past few years due to my numerous prior commitments, but maybe this will be the year

TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
