Christmas Is Coming

Christmas is only two weeks away.  It's one of my favorite holidays, not because of the presents, but because of the fact that you're around family, friends, and maybe a special someone.  It's also probably the best time of the year to be lovers.

Around this time of the year, I go to a Christmas lights show down in Duluth.  It used to be run out of a large property near Cloquet, but then the City Of Duluth bought it out.  It has since gotten bigger and better, and is one of my favorite things to do during the holidays.

I've also been heavily involved with my schools Student Council, especially selling Candy Grams, which are like little notes that you send to certain people.  I won't say here whether or not I sent any.

And now comes the update on the story. I am currently on Chapter 18, which really isn't too much further than where I was last week, but it has been a very busy week. Next week will see me traveling to Hibhing all day Tuesday for a Division Meeting, and Friday will find me delivering Candy Grams to happy people.  I am hoping to get a little farther along during Winter Break though.

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. There are tons of things to do when that first winter storm hits, and we should enjoy it while we can.  I've been regretting not being able to take part in Winter activities these past few years due to my numerous prior commitments, but maybe this will be the year

TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
