One thing I love a lot is music!  So, here are two videos from Jr. High Camp at SBL this year and one from Teen Camp last year.  I'll get more long-winded when I write my 100th post.  Happy watching!

SBL 2015 Through Pictures

Hello to all!  I apologize for the long wait in between posts that has happened once again. I hope to put out a few more posts before the school year begins.  Anyways, the last two weeks I have been out at Story Book Lodge in Biwabik for some more counseling.  Unfortunately I did not get the time off from work to go as a camper this year, but I have really come to enjoy staffing anyways and it's now what I've gotten used to doing there.  Maybe next year I'll try again and see what I can get :).  It was a busy two weeks, and I didn't take very many pictures this year sadly, but there are just a few I would like to share with you that I really enjoy. Here we go!  Most of my cabin from Junior High on fancy dress night.  They were a fun bunch, and they had some pretty interesting morph suits too!  Some of them want to be counselors in the future.......  My bro Elijah!  He has a cool hairdoo, and is not afraid to say what's on his mind or act really crazy.

The Perfect Summer 2015 Wedding Playlist

Lots of weddings will be going on this Summer around the country, many of which feature some of my friends and co-workers.  Whether you have a small wedding party at a cabin or a huge one at a convention center (I've done both), here are some of the hottest songs out there as well as some old classics that will be an instant hit at your reception.  The First Dance Lee Brice "I Don't Dance": This song took country radio by storm last year, and it's such a sweet soft song that will make both of you, especially the bride, feel very special.  Lonestar "Amazed": Just another awesome slow song.  This one's a little older of course, but it still speaks volumes about how the groom may feel about the bride.  Bouquet Toss Beyonce "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)"  This song is perfect for your bouquet toss, because normally it involves all the single ladies in the room.  It's not really what the song is about, but in context it

July....

Today is the 3rd of July, and as I write this we are already in the second half of 2015!  I must say, the second part of the year is my personal favorite.  January-March is kinda meh and dreary in the NE MN area, and then April and May attempt to be beautiful but really you just end up with more snow and crappy weather pretty much every Monday lol.  Then you have June, and heat.   July is always a time for me to sit back and stare in awe at what all has happened in just six months time, and this year has been no exception, with the pickup of Free Range Sports, Student Council State Convention, work, etc.... I feel that July is also my slow month, as it's usually when the bulk of my Story Book Lodge weeks are and therefore I'm not in the daily grind, instead taking it slow while just making sure that all my campers are behaving and (hopefully) deepening their spiritual knowledge and asking questions.  This may also be the first year that I get to be a Senior Counselor, and
