Prom: An Ongoing Saga

It's really hard to believe that Prom is only a month away already!  The Committee has gone around for song requests and is currently working on narrowing them down and eliminating doubles of songs.  We also have the catering menu set and tickets are on sale.  I think we have everything covered at the moment, and it's sure to be quite the party.

We're going to get stuff for decorations on Friday morning.  It's going to be so nice to be with my friends somewhere else besides school for a change!

The one thing I am missing as of Saturday now is a date.  It is quite unfortunate that it had to happen so close to time, but at least I got a notification and wasn't left to wonder, as that would've sucked.  I guess it just proves that life is a roller coaster, and God will steer you towards the right people and away from the wrong choices in due time no matter what.

Will I find a date in time?  Who knows!  I have a shortlist of people I'd like to ask, but there has to be good timing involved with it and everything.  I'm sure the situation will get better by the time it's here.  I have a good feeling about it.

Just a month and nine days to go!  I can't wait!

I also just got done donating Blood not too long ago, and man was that an enjoyable experience! Can't wait until next time!

It's always good to save lives!

A Post About Snow

Snow is something many of us seem to be bi-polar about, myself included.  We love it when the first snowfall of the year graces it's way through our area, but by March we're sick of it and ready for Spring.  It coats the roads, causes car accidents, and sends people to supermarkets in droves, because everyone's worried that this will be the last time they ever make it out of their house for the next few days, which never really seems to be the case thankfully. Regardless of that though, lots of us love a good snow.  Think of the things we have to be thankful for when the snow flies.  We are now able to go (if there's enough snow), sledding, skiing, have snowball fights, and build snowmen. There are tons of things to do when that first winter storm hits, and we should enjoy it while we can.  I've been regretting not being able to take part in Winter activities these past few years due to my numerous prior commitments, but maybe this will be the year

TikTok: Why.... Just Why?

It's a day off and I'm sitting at home scrolling through the Snapchat stories of my friends and co-workers.  I'm just leaving one person's story and moving onto the next, but first I have to watch an advertisement, because Snapchat needs to make money somehow doesn't it? I look at the screen, and for some reason a teenaged dude is just chilling there in a white suit and clown makeup lip syncing to some song I've never heard of before.  The screen is split though, so you know someone else must be coming to join him, right?  Well low and behold not even five seconds later another teenager in a black suit with his hair groomed to resemble a sheep and blue/black skin steps in and starts lip syncing to another part of the song where a different person seems to sing.  The ad cuts out not long after that, and I'm back with my Snapchat stories.
